Meet Shawna and Lianne
Hi! We're Shawna and Lianne, the co-creators of CeCe and the Super 6. We created this program because we believe early reading should feel encouraging, engaging, and accessible for families. We wanted to build something that helps children understand sounds, connect them to words, and grow in confidence—one sound at a time.
Shawna Fleischer
With a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and experience in special education, Shawna helps shape lessons that are supportive, clear, and engaging for young readers.
Lianne Routtenberg
With degrees in education and psychology from McGill University, Lianne brings a strong understanding of child development and how confidence grows during the reading journey.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make early reading feel more approachable, meaningful, and fun. Through storytelling, phonics practice, and CeCe's visual reading map, we help children build the skills they need to decode words, understand how reading works, and become more confident readers.
